A oni słowa dotrzymali.

Niewątpliwie zawdzięcza to wystylizowanej prostocie.

Prom in High School

Lila, Maja, Marcelina, Kasia, Agnieszka and Sebastian – 6 of High School students spend last night (5/6 of February 2011) at their Senior Prom Ball. You know all of them cause they were in Texas last summer.

In Poland, proms taking place before final exams (bal maturalny). Almost every school organises it about 100 days before matura exams, that's why the prom is commonly known as 'studniówka' ('100 days thing'). The prom begins with students' performance of polonaise, a traditional Polish dance.

Girls wear pretty dresses, boys – suites. For a good luck on the exam time, girls were also red garters (they should wear it on the exam day as well).

Below pix of Lila, Maja, Marcelina, Kasia, Agnieszka and Sebastian and second one – with teacher Kasia Kozłowska.
